Microsoft Copilot in Azure
With AI and LLMs transforming the way we work, I set out to solve how these tools could enhance productivity without adding complexity. For the Azure Mobile App, I looked at the Copilot experience to streamline enterprise decision-making—reducing noise and accelerating confident action.
KonMari: Sparking joy in a product
I co-led a Hackathon project focused on inclusive research to re-design the Azure Portal, collaborating with neurotypical and neurodivergent users to explore card-based layouts, actionable alerts, and personalized content. Our work informed a more dynamic, accessible homepage and continues to shape future iterations of the experience.
Azure Mobile App
As lead designer of the Azure Mobile App for over five years, I’ve shaped a product used daily by engineers managing cloud environments on the go. I’ve shipped 40+ features focused on security, performance, and usability, contributing to increased monthly active users, higher retention, and stronger ROI across the Azure ecosystem.
Therapy for MEN™ (an AI bot case study)
Many men avoid therapy due to stigma and shame. I created a conversational bot using OpenAI’s API and GPT-4o to explore whether AI could offer emotional support discreetly—framing guidance as conversation rather than diagnosis. The goal: challenge resistance and soften the cultural discomfort around vulnerability.
Destiny 2: UI for a AAA game
I created over 400 icons for Destiny 2’s UI, designed to be instantly recognizable and intuitive within the context of fast-paced gameplay. I focused on clarity, cohesion, and visual impact—ensuring the interface supported quick decision-making without compromising the game’s rich aesthetic and lore.
Crafting the Azure “A” logo
Over a year-long collaboration with another visual designer and a team of researchers, we explored and refined hundreds of design iterations for the new Azure logo. Our brief was straightforward: create something innovative, trustworthy, and recognizable.
Seattle Art Museum
By crafting story-driven visuals for posters and marketing collateral, I helped exhibitions connect with broader audiences—amplifying the museum’s presence across print, digital, and environmental formats while supporting curatorial vision.
Azure Core GLEAM swag
GLEAM, an internal employee resource group, founded in 1993 with a dozen members, now boasts over 3,700 members globally across 54 chapters at Microsoft. Their mission: transform the Microsoft culture and empower LGBTQIA+ and allied employees. I created stickers, posters, and hoodies for Azure’s chapter members.
